May 18, 2026 - FASSelangor FC ended their 2025/26 Super League campaign with a 6–0 victory over PDRM FC at MBPJ Stadium, Kelana Jaya, yesterday.
The team put in a strong performance, fielding several young players in the final league match of the season. Mukhairi Ajmal opened the scoring in the 8th minute and added his second goal just before half-time in the 45th minute. Alvin Fortes also struck twice in quick succession, scoring in the 27th and 29th minutes, both assisted by Izwan Yuslan.
In the second half, Izwan Yuslan scored Selangor’s fifth goal before Mukhairi Ajmal completed his hat-trick in the 89th minute. The match ended 6–0, with the Red Giants finishing third in the 2025/26 Super League, recording 16 wins, four draws, and four losses.
According to Selangor FC Head Coach Kim Pan-gon, he is proud of the players’ performance, which continues to reflect the Selangor DNA.
“First and foremost, congratulations to all Selangor players. Tonight, they showed determination, spirit, commitment, and quality in their performance and reactions on the pitch. This gives hope and momentum for the team’s future. I am very pleased to see the supporters coming to show their support. Most importantly, we maintained the Selangor FC way. We united, fought together, and stood strong as one family on the pitch,” said Kim Pan-gon.
“On behalf of the Raja Muda of Selangor, I would like to apologise to the Red Giants for this season’s overall results. As head coach, I take full responsibility and will continue building the Selangor DNA step by step,” he added.
This week, Selangor FC will host Buriram United FC for the first leg of the ACC Shopee Cup 2025/26 final at MBPJ Stadium, Kelana Jaya, on Wednesday, 20 May, at 9pm. Tickets are available here.
